Yamaha engineer is going to analyse the transmission KIT that was replaced to find the problem, meanwhile I'm asking directly to him if it is not possible to test a equivalent transmission kit, since the problem persists.

At this moment it's the only option I see, that will tell us once for all if the problem is transmission kit or not.

 

I also mentioned the topic where you have listed all the frame numbers of the bikes that have the noise. I cannot guarantee that Yamaha will look at them.

l'ingegnere Yamaha sta analizzando il kit trasmissione che è stato sostituito per trovare il problema, intanto gli sto chiedendo direttamente se non è possibile testare un kit trasmissione equivalente, visto che il problema persiste.

Ora come ora è l'unica opzione che vedo possibile, questo tentativo ci svelerebbe una volta per tutte se il problema è il kit trasmissione o no.

 

Gli ho anche menzionato la discussione dove avete pubblicato il numero di telaio delle moto che hanno il problema. Non posso garantire che Yamaha ci dia un'occhiata.

 

Appena avrò aggiornamenti scriverò.

E in questo momento la tua moto sta girando con il nuovo kit trasmissione - originale - che è rumoroso pure lui.

 

Penso - anch'io - che l'unica opzione sia cambiare il kit originale con uno aftermarket.

Questo è l'unico modo per essere sicuri che il kit originale è davvero difettoso. Inoltre, tu ne hai testati due, di questi kit...

 

Spero che l'ingegnere trovi il vero problema, e spero che tu possa montare un nuovo kit aftermarket.

Yes Yamaha Engi is going to analyze my old transmission kit, and now my bike is running new - original -replacement kit that is noisy too.

 

The thing is, I don't believe that yamaha will put a aftermarket transmission KIT that is not already used on one of they're bikes. For that reason I've suggested that they replace the Transmission Kit with one used in other yamaha bike. Let's just hope that they are willing to do this change.

 

I'm glad to help, I also want this solved.
If this thing is not solved I will probably sell the bike...

si, l'ingegnere Yamaha analizzerà il vecchio kit trasmissione, e adesso sulla mia moto sto utilizzando il nuovo kit (originale), che fa rumore pure lui.

 

Il fatto è che non penso che Yamaha metterà un kit trasmissione aftermarket che non sia già utilizzato in una delle loro moto.

Per questo motivo gli ho suggerito di rimpiazzare il kit trasmissione con uno utilizzato su un altro modello Yamaha.

Speriamo solo che vogliano fare questo cambio.

 

Mi fa piacere di aiutare, pure io voglio che il problema sia risolto.

Se non viene risolto probabilmente venderò la moto...

So, I've spoke to the Engi directly and what he is asking is to do at least 5000km on this transmission KIT. My previous Transmission kit was replaced with 3000KM.

He was sincere, saying that they need to have a working background and at least some Km's made, to allow the parts do cut in or even a more evident problem show up.

He assured me that after this km's, they will act to solve the problem, but this procedure is truly needed so he can have a working base.
The Transmission Kit will be sent to factory and if they have news they'll inform.

 

He said that there are no references from Yamaha for this issue anywhere. I suspect this doesn't help at all.

 

So, guys I appeal to you all with this issue, go to Yamaha dealers and make them report the issue back to central services.

They will tell you it's normal noise as usual, yeah it's normal but you want them to claim warranty and ask Yamaha Engi's to investigate the issue.

If you cant go to your dealer, send them a e-mail.

 

For now it's all.

I'll return if I have more news.

dunque, ho parlato direttamente con l'ingegnere che mi ha chiesto di percorrere almeno 5000km con il nuovo kit di trasmissione. Il mio precedente kit è stato sostituito a 3000km.

Mi è sembrato sincero, mi ha riferito di aver bisogno di una base con sopra un po' di chilometri su cui poter lavorare, in modo che potesse evidenziare eventuali difetti con l'usura.

Mi ha garantito che dopo quei chilometri si attiveranno per risolvere il problema, ma questa procedura è necessaria per avere i primi riscontri di base.

Il kit di trasmissione verrà quindi spedito alla fabbrica e se ci saranno notizie in merito ci informeranno.

 

Ha detto anche che non ci sono segnalazioni da parte di Yamaha su questo problema da nessuna parte. Ho il sospetto che questa cosa non ci aiuterà molto.

 

Quindi ragazzi mi appello a voi tutti con questo problema, andate dal vostro rivenditore e fatelo segnalare al servizio centrale.

Vi diranno come al solito che è un rumore normale, ma voi insistete sulla sostituzione in garanzia e fate uscire un ispettore per le verifiche del caso.

Se non riuscite ad andare dal vostro rivenditore, spedite una e-mail.

Guys I'm thinking in replacing my 07 for a Mt09-Tracer, do you Know if tracer as this same issue?

I'm looking at other bikes but this is the one that makes more sense to me right now. To be honest I travell alot with my girlfriend and 07  is becoming short for us.

Thanks for any tips/adivce you can give me.
